I came here for my graduation dinner and it was wonderful! We came with a group of ten and in spite of that we all got our food really quick! Server was lovely, she congratulated me and she was very sweet! The food was amazing, this was one of the rare times where the whole table ate in silence because the food was so damn good. We’re def coming back if we’re ever in the area!

Food was SO GOOD. I loved my shrimp po-boy, because it's hard to find one in Houston where the shrimp is seasoned. This had nice flavor. My friend was impressed with his fish and oysters platter - so much fish and perfectly fried. I had a bite of the catfish and it was flaky and delicious, not dry in the least. And they have Big Shot! Been missing these true New Orleans flavors. We'll be back. Note that if you go late night on a Friday (we went around 11), the parking lot of the whole center might be jammin' and blocked off in a lot of spots... you may have to get a little creative with parking, ha ha. But the restaurant itself was chill, loved the art and photos on the walls while we waited on the to-go order.
The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food fancy restaurant quality or Grandmas kitchen! The portion size is perfect. I'm 6'3. Every bite makes you want one more. It's working man food,comfort food. It's a perfect break from the traffic of Houston.
On a recent Friday night, I ordered takeout and was informed that my food would be ready in 15 minutes. Since I live approximately 15 minutes away, I planned to leave immediately, but ended up departing 10 minutes later. Upon my arrival, I discovered that my food was not yet prepared, resulting in an additional wait of 30 minutes. Fortunately, by the time I returned home, the food was still warm. Overall, the meal was well-seasoned and enjoyable, although I found the chicken to be slightly salty. I ordered a shrimp platter, which included fries, a slice of toast, about 10 large shrimp, 5 lemon pepper wings, and yakamein. While the shrimp and wings were delightful, the yakamein was somewhat bland, leading me to believe it could be easily replicated at home. I would rate my experience an 8 out of 10 and recommend this establishment for its quality food, particularly on weekends when they offer late hours. However, patrons should be prepared for potential wait times.
